Aromatic amine refers to Aromatic amine hardeners in which the amine group is directly connected to the aromatic ring. The activity of Aromatic amine hardeners is lower than that of aliphatic amines. Aromatic amine hardeners should be heated to cure epoxy resins in use.

1. Meta-phenylenediamine (MPDA): white crystal, melting point 63°C, dosage is 14-15%, usable period is 8 hours at 25%C. Curing conditions: 85°C, 2H; 175°C, 1H. Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT) 150°C.

2. m-xylylenediamine (MXDA): colorless and transparent liquid, freezing point 122C, easy to use, dosage is 16-20%, can be cured at room temperature.

3. 4,4'-Aminodiphenylsulfone (DDS): light yellow powder, melting point 178*C. Its activity is the lowest among aromatic amines. The boron trifluoride complex (methyl ethyl ketone) can promote the curing of DDS and has a pot life of 3H at 75°C. Curing conditions 125°C, 2H; 200°C, 2H. The heat distortion temperature is 175°C.

4. 4,4-Diaminodiphenylmethane (DDM): white crystal, melting point 89°C. The dosage is 27-30%, and the usable period is 8H at 25°C. Curing conditions 80°C, 2H; 150C, 2H. The heat deflection temperature is 148°C.
