Epoxy floor coatings are protective and functional surfaces made by covering an industrial floor with epoxy materials. Composed of multiple epoxies, these coatings are primer, intermediate, and top coat. Each layer serves a distinct purpose. The primer increases adhesion to the floor primer while the intermediate coat provides further thickening of the layer and additional strength, chemical and corrosion resistance, and durability. The top coat surface forms a permanent top layer which can be wear resistant, non-slip, chemically resistant, or easy to clean. Given the rugged floors common in industrial workplaces, industrial epoxy floor coatings are designed to withstand considerable abuse and still not damage the floor underneath. This slash maintenance issues and costs, improves safety and efficiency when working, and boost productivity in the workspace.
