An epoxy accelerator is any substance added to the combination of epoxy resin and hardener to increase the rate of curing. It helps to decompose the epoxy compoundsso that the epoxy can change from liquid to solid as fast as possible. This is very helpful in construction work, production, or any repair works that are urgent. While accelerators can be tailored to specific epoxy and curing agent systems, the dosage must be very precise as well.
