The term epi polyamide cured describes an epoxy system which utilizes a polyamide hardener. Once the hardener is introduced to the epoxy resin system, it undergoes continuous curing in a process known as cross-linking which imparts a distinctive structure to the polymer. The resultant polymer exhibits greater toughness and greater chemical resistance including some resistance to water. Also, the polyamide cured epoxies have good bond strength to different substrates. Because of their toughness and resistant to strong chemicals, epoxy polyamide cured materials are ideal for tile grading as well as for bonding concrete and metals and other industrial strength adhesives.
